We strip back to the studs, check for damage and repair it, install a proper moisture barrier, and only then apply your new siding. While the walls are open, we can safely alter, add, or remove non-load-bearing walls and reconfigure window or door openings to better fit your space, then wrap it all in your new exterior. If we find rot or structural damage when we strip the old siding, we have the crew and the know-how to fix it on the spot, not paper over it.
